Shinara's 1st day of 5th Grade

We take our Elementary girls to school on the first day and today was Shinara's last First day of Elementary School.

Shinara saw her good friend Olivia and after meeting up with her she found out they would be in the same class.

Shinara was so excited to get the letter that told her Mr. Tuss would be her fifth grade teacher. She had really wanted him. He team teaches with a lady named Ms. Carlson. She has English and Reading and Mr. Tuss teaches math, SS and science.

Helicopters

Tersa and Mardi took a road trip down to Barstow to see Aunt Cami, Uncle Wes and cousin James. Uncle Wes flies helicopters for the Army. Aunt Cami invited them since Tersa will graduate this next year. She wants to invite all of the girl nieces the summer before they graduate. But they will move around a lot so it may not be feasible. Mardi and Tersa had a great time!

Pirate Park

We used to love the "pirate park". But it gets very windy there and requires that we pack up and drive to it. So, we hadn't gone at all this year and I wanted to take the little girls. It's the beginning of August, but it was really chilly! And though we didn't stay long, Anarya really enjoyed herself. (Shinara and Keddi were too cold.)
