LLFR (Lorenc/Larson Family Reunion)

Too many pictures were taken at reunion to post. I am making a completely separate book and won't even use all of the pictures I have in THAT! I certainly can't post about it all here. So, suffice it to say, reunion was about...

Hanging out with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Pops & CC and Roxy (Britnee's dog.)

There were water activities, bocca ball, scavenger hunt, hay rides, hammocks, trampoline, horseshoes, frisbee golf, preparation and clean-up of meals, trips to Target, movies, tootsie pops, the pool table, cameras, a talent show and....

Grandma Dory Reunion

Those of us that chose to, came to Colorado earlier so that we could meet together with mom. Someone arranged for the use of a building near dad's and we hung out there for most of the day. We had pictures taken, games and activities set up at some tables and a ball. We got pizza for lunch and the building had some land around it that the kids could entertain themselves in, as well as the things we had inside.  We just hung out and enjoyed each other until the evening and we had a talent show. Some people went to dinner together but we went back to Britnee's to put the baby down and we weren't hungry.

Colorado Bound

Our 6 hour day turned into an 8 hour driving day. I don't think the google map thing was correct, in the first place. Second, we hit construction all along the way to Grand Junction, Co. In order to give Tersa an experience in driving on the freeway, we waited till we thought it would be a pretty light traffic area. We didn't know there was construction in the first canyon we came in. Poor thing. We crawled along in  some places because of the cones and in other places because of Tersa's inexperience. Anyway, time to wind down. Tomorrow will be shorter.

Summer Hair- Tersa

  Tersa's hair keeps getting darker and she prefers being blonde, so besides her cut this year, she got highlights. It sure made a difference, though you can't tell from these pictures because they were taken in two different places. Anyway, Sis. Rose gave her a beautiful cut too. Love the bangs and the way her hair is shaped.

Summer Hair- Mardi

 This was by far the most surprising change. Mardi has been saying for years that she was growing her hair out long enough so that she could donate it without having to have her hair too short. She finds security in her long hair and other people love it. But when she cut it, I couldn't get over how becoming it was on her. She lamented the loss of length for a while and her friends whined about her having cut it, but I think she likes it!

Summer Hair- Keddi

Keddi really likes to chop her hair off for the summer!

Summer Hair-Shinara

This isn't a very good representation of how long Shar's hair was before she cut it. I had put rollers in her hair two nights before and rather than go through it ourselves, we just let the beautician do it. She didn't even bother. Shar told her where she wanted it cut and Sis. Rose just combed through it to that point. Then she cut off the tangles! (The light was very bright when I took the before pictures.)

5th Grade Promotion

 Keddi will be heading to Jr. High this year and is so excited. In the meantime, after promotion, I went to her classroom to take pictures of her and her friends.
