Thanksgiving with Wilsons

It's been years since we had Thanksgiving with Wilsons! They often have visitors from out of town but this year they didn't. So they invited us over and we got to spend Thanksgiving with people we are very grateful for!

The baby girls couldn't be seen in my first picture but they were there!!

Thanksgiving football

Who'd have thought the Barbers would involve themselves in a football tradition? Anyone who knows that the Barber's like to socialize even if they don't play! Tersa is the only one of us that played, though Keddi and Shar wanted to know why they couldn't.

This guy came up behind Tersa and pushed her. She popped right back up and kept going. He realized what he'd done and held back after she'd gotten back up. (Good thing too.)

Anarya was the only other one of us to get any exercise at this activity. Jackson Schott and Bradley Simonson (pictured) helped her walk all over the place.

First ponytail

It took over a year for Anarya to grow enough hair to put a ponytail in it. I decided to use soft rollers today too. It's Thanksgiving, lots of pictures.

Unfortunately, the way I put the curlers in made the back look a bit like she had a tail back there. It took forever for it to relax too!

But a curly pony is cute!

Band Competition

Half the kids in this picture are in our ward. And there were many more in the band.

After the performance, a group picture was taken. This is Tyler Schott. His family are in our ward and are a great family. (Tyler is my favorite. I always tell him this. See, he gave me extra chocolate bars on Mother's Day!)

Band uniform

I lucked out. I had never gotten a picture of Mardi in her band uniform and Joel and I decided to go to this last competition and I cornered her. She has loved being part of this group and I think it has made the tradition to High School not only easier, but enjoyable as well.
