Tersa's cut is fabulous and she loved it. But after getting home and seeing a picture from when she was 10 she was unhappy that her new cut made her look younger! Waah.

Tersa and Mardi didn't get new Easter dresses. We can rarely find ANY dresses for them that are modest. But, we included them in a group picture. All our girls. Easter 2011. Beautiful.

Ward Easter Egg Hunt

Since we had a ward egg hunt today, we didn't do our traditional hunt. And because of that, I do not have many hunting pictures. We had breakfast and enjoyed the ward.

The teenagers came early to help put together the eggs and "hide" them in the grassy area out by the pavilion. Mardi loves bubbles and evidently, Tanner doesn't mind eating them.

Shinara's 2011 haircut

Shinara loves her cut too. She wanted bangs so bad. Her hair has been long and split right down the middle her whole life, so her bangs won't lay all across her forehead like she wants. We will try to retrain them for her!

Keddi's haircut

Keddi had her hair cut pretty short last year too but it grew quite a bit since then. She knew exactly what she wanted and she got it. It's adorable on her. Can't wait to do it up for Easter.

General Conference

We went to the Richardson's for Sunday morning conference. We had some biscuits and juice and then went down to their newly finished movie room to watch. Poor Mathias had not slept well and was feeling a little sick. He and Lindsay stayed home. After watching, Shinara got Robert to fight with her a little bit.

Here are the people in the chairs. There were two huge beanbags on each side of the room with kids in them and a blanket on the floor with more kids. We enjoy time at the Richardson's and are waiting to get to watch "Inception" there.

Bubble diving

It wasn't enough to make huge bubbles after a while. Mardi started diving into them.

Cousin Garron's Bubbles

This boy had the magic touch! He and his family had tried these at home in California where the weather is more conducive to these big bubbles. But even here he got some great ones! (The girls did too but I wasn't always ready to "capture" them!)

This one looks like it's coming back for him.

Lindsay called to see if she could drive the boys down for part of their Spring Break. We didn't tell anyone in my family that they were coming. They arrived late Fri. night and everyone else was asleep. So when they came down to breakfast Sat., it was quite the surprise. Shinara was jumping up and down in the kitchen with Lindsay. I don't think I have ever pulled off a complete surprise for Joel before!

But coming wasn't good enough for Lindsay, she also brought something fun to do. A Giant Bubble Wand.

Our desert conditions are not great for these bubbles, but what the girls got out of them was still pretty good. We just had to stop and wait for wind sometimes.

It was even cool to catch a picture of them popped.
