Two teeth

I was sick and Joel was out of town when I discovered that Anarya had two teeth. I'd had no idea she was cutting teeth. I saw a reflection when I was feeding her cereal. I put the spoon down and stuck my finger in there to feel her first tooth and found two of them. I think she is close to cutting a third one down there.

Mandy and I had these two precious girls only 4 1/2 mo. apart. Right now it is a huge difference, but we hope that they will be good friends. Could they look any different from each other though?

Happy St. Patricks!

Wouldn't you know that as I looked for a St. Patricks day outfit, there wasn't much to choose from and what little there was, was unavailable in her size? Mandy had this in the clothes she gave me. Luckily it wasn't too small!

Sitting up

We don't leave her alone sitting because she can't do that yet, but she can keep her balance. She is eating table food but still isn't sure she likes the texture of chopped up fruit or meat. She loves her sippy cup but can't get it to work on her own. She still says hi and to get your attention for other things she just gets louder and louder with grunts and playful screams. (You'd have to hear it to get my drift.) She's 7 mo. old now.

Ragball

This is Shinara's first year playing ragball. But Keddi has played before and asked for a mitt, ball and bat so Shinara has had practice with each.

She hit the ball both times that she was up and both hits got past the pitcher and in between two bases. She enjoyed playing. I wonder if she will like it well enough to ask for her own equipment. We shall see.

This is Keddi's 3rd year, making her an old pro. After her first year she decided she needed a mitt. After getting it she practiced and knew how to use it by the next "season" but in that time she also acquired a bat and ball. (All pink of course.)

She is quite a natural at her stance and swing. She too hit the ball both times she was up to bat. Grounders that went past the pitcher between 2nd and 3rd.

Sick

Shinara came home with something in the second week of Feb. that she so kindly shared with Mardi. I got sick the 18th and only got out of bed for any length of time yesterday!! Joel was out all last week and parts of this week. Keddi was home for three days with high fevers and we had to take the baby in, who was diagnosed with Influenza A. Tersa has been fine for the last three weeks except that she has been taking care of everything and the baby. So, no pictures, and no posts for the last few weeks.
