Bumbo Love

We still live in a town home. We don't have a lot of room anyway and we try to keep the living areas that people will see when they come to the house less cluttered. I don't have room for the swing, bouncy chair and activity chair that I have used in the past for the other girls.
So I bought a Bumbo. It really is an amazing little thing. Anarya cannot sit by herself. But she can in this. And she is strong enough to bend over to get toys and kind of straighten herself back up. She has a blanket to lie on so that she can learn to roll, pick up her head, etc.... She has a high chair in the kitchen so that she can sit in there while dinner is being prepared. And now she has a Bumbo. And she loves it.

Anayra's first shoes

Aunt Katy made these adorable shoes for Anarya after she was born. But my friend Mandy graciously gave us all of her daughters clothes and they were all light pinks and purple. The shoes just didn't look right.

They look cute with this outfit though! We have a couple more that I think they will go with too. So nice to be able to use them! Now I need to get hold of Aunt Katy and see how we can keep them ON!

An early start

All the girls like reading. If they find something they like, they will read for "fun". The little girls have to read for homework and we like to try to get most, if not all of that homework done before school. Anarya seems to like books and being read to. It's a good early start to having another good reader I hope!

Yummm

Don't know. She turns herself over and this time, this was how she entertained herself. The other day she turned in her high chair and did the same with the smooth side of the chair. I wish I'd gotten THAT on camera!

Mardi's 14th Celebration

Mardi's b-day was on a Tuesday this year. She has Young Women activities that night. Mandy's b-day is the day before Mardi's and Justin invited Joel and I to go out to dinner with them and then congregate with our families at their house for cake and presents. A great way to spend a Family Night.
Mardi got a makeup case (without makeup) to keep her hair spray, combs, ponytail holders,...., books (of course) and a shooting glove for when she uses her bow. We got a Nothing Bundt cake for Mandy but Mardi doesn't like lemon so I bought a small cinnamon one just for her.

Mardi's 14th

This baby girl turned 14 today. She is a smart, good, pretty, fiesty and responsible girl. I think that Anarya looks a lot like this picture of Mardi and it's fun to see the resemblance. Mardi has taken good care of her youngest sister and loves her dearly. And we love Mardi dearly. Happy Birthday Smartie!

New Year's Baby

We bought several, "My First..." holiday things for Anarya. And I couldn't pass up the cheap tuxedo shirt for New Years. I never did that for my other babies, why do I for this one?

New Year's Eve

I have been sick this week so we didn't go to the Wilson's for New Year's Eve. It was a tradition that we missed this year. But with a new baby who gets tired way before midnight, it was nice to be home and be able to put her to bed. Uncle Jack brought his family to Vegas this year and decided that my cough didn't worry them enough to stay away so they spent the evening and early morning with us. We sat around and ate, talked and played wii golf (well, some played) for about 7 hours!! I didn't take any pictures.

Today, they took our little girls and Mardi to their hotel to swim in the indoor pool. Tonight we will play some games but not for too long since we have 9:00 church tomorrow.
