Lady Skyhawks

Joel and I took some time out one afternoon to get to one of Tersa's games. They lost this one but it was nice to be able to support her at at least one game.

Tersa really did not appreciate having committed to volleyball when the season first started. There were some issues with their first coach and now they have a new one. Volleyball is better. But I'm not sure if she as changed her mind about not trying out next year.

Heart Bruise

Tersa bruises easily. She constantly has bruises on her legs and occasionally in other places, many of them she couldn't even tell you how they got there. I guess this time she was bruised with love?

Anarya's blessing

No one from Joel's or my family could be here for Anarya's blessing. So we are grateful for friends who are family to us! This is the dress my old roommates purchased when I had Tersa. All of our girls have been blessed in it.

Bishop Hellewell, Joel, Anarya, Bro. Lee (home teacher), Justin Wilson, Scott Flinders. Missing from the picture, but part of the circle were Bro. Richardson and Bro. Christensen (counselors in the bishopric.)

Anarya's 1st bath

Anarya's umbilical cord took the longest of all the girls to come off. She was born on July 26th and on August 26th, the cord came off. So she had her 1st bath on the 28th. And she so loved it!

The other girls were surprised a bit when we gave them their first baths but no one hated it like this baby girl!

Yep, Joel climbed into the tub so that I could take pictures without shadows on the baby. :)

Once out and wrapped in a towel, she still complained.

But she calmed down.

The second bath, given a few days later, went much better. The tub was a little more full and the process was not new? Anyway, not an unhappy peep!!

1st Day of School 2010

First day back to school was Aug. 30th.

Mardi is being picked up by some friends which is so helpful to me in the morning. If she makes Jazz Band though, I will have to make other arrangements to get her there earlier in the morning for practices.

I took Tersa's picture after school because even though she didn't have seminary on the first day of school, she still had to be out of the house before 6:45 and since I don't get full nights sleep right now, I didn't get up!

Happy 15th Tersa!

What's all the excitement about?

A phone.

I didn't intend on getting the girls phones until they were dating and going out. But Joel is replacing his iphone and so we made adjustments to our plan and he gave his old one to Tersa. It will be very useful while she is playing volleyball and has practices and away games and such. (Thanks Pops & CC and Grandma Dory for the cards you sent!)
