Ward Trunk or Treat

When we took out the costume box, Shinara settled on the Snow White dress we have. Three days ago she said that what she would really like to be is a vampire with blood coming out of her mouth. ?!?! So, Tersa helped her alter a costume that was too big for her and a vampire she became! Scott Kirklin is a friend of ours and his wife had dressed up as Snow White!
Keddi was an Indian this year. The little girls are at the Bishop's trunk. He and his wife dressed as Pirates. They go all out!
Joel wore his fro this year and so did Kevin Sigmund and Chase Peterson.

Tersa went as a "celebrity" in her own clothes and red high heeled shoes, big sunglasses and a purse with a stuffed dog in it. Chase and Nicole are in our ward. Mardi was never around when I had my camera in hand.

Pumpkin Carving

Shinara was so excited about pumpkin carving this year. She was completely into getting the "goop" out. Joel did most of the carving, but she picked out her pattern and cleaned out her pumpkin.

I didn't get a picture of Keddi. She was the only one who didn't use a pattern. She drew out what she wanted me to carve out for her. Mardi and Tersa both altered the pattern they used.

Poor Little girls

I usually take pictures everywhere we go. Unfortunately, it sometimes doesn't even occur to me to take my camera along anymore. I have found that I tend to miss out on an activity because I am trying to get pictures. Which means that the little girls don't get as many of their activities documented as the big girls did!

I have a new calling too ( since June). Activities committee chairman. And it doesn't always allow for me to take pictures because I am busy trying to see to things during the activity. No fun!

We went to the Elementary school harvest festival this month. The little girls had fun. We went to the last day of the book fair first and then participated in the festival. Mardi came along and ran around with a friend and then helped at the PTA table. Joel had come home early and he and Tersa went out for their "date." They cleaned up his car.

Too funny

I know it's hard with these smaller pictures, but look at Cami's hand in this first one.

Then, when it's her turn, Wes gets a face full.

He got her back with a kiss that turned into a smeer on the side of her face.

But that wasn't the funny part. The oldest of Wes' nephews in attendance thought this exchange was sooo funny and I captured him trying to describe what happened to his little brother.
Little brother just doesn't seem to think it's all that funny!!
Oh, there's a crack of a smile.
