Happy 6th Birthday Shinara

Six whole years ago this baby came into our lives. And it's been a better life because of it. She's a peacemaker and tenderhearted soul. She is funny without trying and is also proving to be quite a smart little thing. We love her and she loves us back, wholeheartedly.

Sleeping on the job

We came home from a date or something late one night and found Tersa like this. She's sitting in front of the computer. She records movies on it occasionally and watches them when she doesn't feel like watching what Mardi is watching.

4th of July

Our annual bbq and fireworks with the Wilsons is a favorite. I think this is the fourth or fifth year we have come to Boulder City for fireworks and set up camp at this church building. We always try to leave this area clean so that the church doesn't have to ban people from parking and staying here to watch the fireworks. We did the usual food, sparklers, poppers and watching of fireworks, but Mandy also had some "glow worms". Ever done those? Do them on a blacktop!!! We didn't know what would happen and burned one right on the sidewalk there in front of the chairs! Yep, left a burn mark. I used a rock to scrub it away when water and shoe rubbing didn't work. I think it worked well.

Tracy's wedding

This is Tracy Thiriot. Well, no, now she's Tracy Schmidt. We were invited to her wedding in St. George on June 26th because she used to babysit the girls. She looked very happy and it was fun to be there with her. We went to the temple while the girls hung out in the hotel room. Then we all dressed up and went to the luncheon. The reception was that night in Vegas but we decided to stay another night. We enjoyed the pool and some relaxing time as a family.
